Presentation

The input offers insights into the exhibition “Negotiating Down Under: Gynecology Between Knowledge and Power,” a collaboration between the University of Hamburg’s Institutes of English and American Studies and Liberal Arts & Sciences, the Medical History Museum, and the Department and Outpatient Clinic of Gynecology at the UKE. It also reflects on the possibilities and challenges of student co-creation at a time when creative engagement, feminist empowerment, and public involvement are urgently needed.

Sophie Witt is Professor of Literary Studies (Cultures of Knowledge and Interdisciplinarity) at Universität Hamburg.
