Organisms Democracy /Club Real Krisengespräche mit Berliner Lebewesen

Audio Installation / Sound Walk in the Garden and Courtyard, Silent Disco headphones are available to borrow.

In the Berlin courtyard of the former horticultural school, now home to HAUNT, Club Real interviews the plants, fungi, animals, and microorganisms that inhabit the site about more-than-human perceptions and meanings of Krikrikri (crisis, war, critique) and Kikeriki (cock-a-doodle-doo). Are you, Tree of Heaven, beneficiaries of crisis? Do you, birch trees, perceive climate change as a problem? Why do you, Southern Oak Bush-Crickets, travel by car? Is it true that you, mosses, benefit when others are crushed beneath human shoes? And what is your “Kikeriki,” dear Long-tailed titmouse? The conversational installation is presented as Station 33 of City of Living Beings – The History of Berlin Told by Plants, Fungi, Animals, and Microorganisms.
